Pensioners in Kazakhstan will receive aid from IDF Eurasia in connection with the pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic, having spread around the world, has become a challenge for Kazakhstanis. Strict observance of quarantine measures is prescribed to certain categories of the population, in particular, elderly people.

IDF Eurasia in Kazakhstan, together with the public association Alma-Ata Women’s Club, are implementing activities to provide social support to such citizens. Thus, for elderly people living in the Aksai microdistrict, targeted aid has already been provided in the form of the purchase and home delivery of a set of products.

In the future, it is planned to expand aid by providing citizens with necessary medicines, as well as protective clothing — it will be ordered from the sewing shops of individual entrepreneurs who were left without work for the quarantine period.
