IDF Eurasia lent support to doctors and volunteers in Almaty

IDF Eurasia in Kazakhstan jointly with individual entrepreneur — Oksana Shagareva «AG Argentum Estetic» provided antiviral clothing sets to volunteers of Almaty public associations, and medical staff of No. 7 City hospital.

Volunteer movements in Kazakhstan are reaction with kindness and compassion to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. They provide essential and urgent assistance to the population for free. They create personal protective clothing, bring medicines and food to elderly people, help doctors, and voluntarily take a risk and protect other people.

Volunteers were the first to respond to the state of emergency in each city, helping everyone who had got difficult situation. For example, Restaurateurs’ Club in Kazakhstan undertook the provision of hot meals to doctors and emergency medical service in Almaty hospitals.

To minimize the risk of infection of volunteers, IDF Eurasia in Kazakhstan purchased and transferred antiviral clothing kits to medical staff in No. 7 City hospital in Almaty, and to the volunteers of Public Association «Women’s club «Almaty» who provide social support to pensioners living in Aksai district.

The purpose of the social project — «Clothing for volunteers» is primarily to protect activists who help the population, and to support individual entrepreneurs in this difficult period of quarantine.
