The winners of the third All-Russian Competition of socially significant projects implemented by microfinance organizations (MFIs) were given awards in St. Petersburg within the framework of the XVIII National Conference on Microfinance and Financial Accessibility.

The main objectives of the competition are to identify, promote and disseminate best practices in the microfinance market in the sphere of socially significant projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and sustainable development of the socio-economic environment in the regions.

The competition was held under the information and expert support of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

The MoneyMan project for the introduction of the position of the Commissioner for the Rights of Borrowers in the company was awarded in the nomination “The best microfinance institution project aimed at protecting rights of financial services consumers».

It bears reminding, that this July the company introduced a new position — the Commissioner for the Rights of Borrowers. The main task of the commissioner is monitoring the observance of the interests of clients who were dissatisfied with the company’s operation.

The Ombudsman is a fully independent position with all the powers and technical capabilities to resolve the dispute between the client and the company in the shortest possible time, not more than 2 days. The introduction of this new position has enabled to improve the quality of customer service, the speed of feedback and borrowers’ loyalty to the company.
