Alexander Vasiliev – Speaker of the сlub of buyers and sellers of overdue debt

CEO of the ID Collect problem debt repayment service (part of the IDF Eurasia group) оn February 17, Alexander Vasiliev spoke at a meeting of the Club of Buyers and Sellers of Overdue Debts in the section dedicated to the Russian market of MFO cession.
Alexander Vasiliev shared with the club members the results of the foreclosure market in the MFO segment in 2022 and forecasts for the current year. According to ID Collect estimates, the volume of debt offered for sale by microfinance organizations in 2023 will grow by 10-12%, portfolio prices will slightly increase within 1.5 pp, while the bulk of transactions will take place directly outside the auction sites.
As part of the Club’s business program, the macroeconomic situation in the country, the results and forecasts of the bank cession market, sources of financing for collection agencies and the specifics of the regional recovery market were also discussed. Among the participants of the Club meeting are the largest players in the foreclosure market, representatives of banks, microfinance companies, electronic trading platforms, consulting firms.
